Mardi Gras is coming soon in February. To get you in the mood, the Culinary Center in Lincoln City is having a Mardi Gras Jambalaya Cook-off on January 30th. Chefs from throughout Oregon will compete to take home the people's choice title: Best Jambalaya, or the live cooking competition for best Cajun/Creole dish. The live competition will be judged by three judges on taste, authenticity, creativity, technique, appearance, consistency and overall presentation.
